The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

Join our new primary care mental health team, bringing practice based mental health services to the North Belfast GP Federation. We are recruiting for Senior Mental Health Practitioners.

Location: North Belfast

Salary: £46,148-£52,809 per annum pro-rata plus a range of attractive terms and conditions - including membership of the HSC Pension Scheme. Additional Benefits include Cycle to Work Scheme and NHS Car Lease Scheme. Federations also recognise HSC reckonable service for increment points, annual leave and sick leave.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Both Full and Part Time hours available (Full Time hours 37.5 hours per week). A waiting list will also be compiled for future permanent/temporary, full time/part time vacancies arising in the next 12 months.

JOB SUMMARY

The post holder will be responsible for delivering safe, effective, and person-centred care across the practice population. As a highly specialist clinical resource within General Practice, they will provide expert care, advice, and support while working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure a coordinated approach across the patient pathway.

The role focuses on the application of evidence-based practice, including initial assessments for patients of all ages presenting with undifferentiated or undiagnosed mental health concerns, with timely referral to appropriate professionals or agencies as required.
