We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Electrician to join our team, working across social housing sites in the Bristol and Bath areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced electrician to secure a temp-to-perm role with a reputable contractor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations within occupied and void social housing properties.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections and testing in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and stakeholders.
- Complete reports and documentation accurately using the company's systems.
- Participate in the on-call rota and respond to emergency callouts when required.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- ECS Card or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar maintenance role, ideally within social housing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Full UK Driving License.
Desirable:
- 2391 or equivalent Testing and Inspection qualification.
- Experience using maintenance management software.
Working hours are typically Monday to Friday with overtime available. Competitive call-out and overtime rates. All tools and PPE will be provided.
