Our client, a highly respected and established financial services organisation, is seeking an experienced Chartered Financial Planner to join their team in Leeds at Director level. This role offers the opportunity to take over a significant client base from a retiring Director while also contributing to business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wealth management, a track record of working with high-net-worth clients, and the ambition to drive new client relationships forward.
The Role
- Manage and develop an existing portfolio of high-net-worth clients, ensuring exemplary service and financial planning advice.
- Drive new business opportunities through proactive relationship building and professional networking.
- Provide expert advice on a range of financial planning areas, including investment management, inheritance tax planning, business relief, EIS, VCTs, complex trusts, SIPP, and SSAS.
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored financial solutions that meet clients' specific needs and objectives.
Candidate Profile
- Chartered Financial Planner with a minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar role.
- Proven track record of advising clients with £1-3M+ in Assets Under Management (AUM), with preference for those accustomed to working at higher levels.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets and investment strategies.
- Confident in developing new business and ideally bringing across an existing client book over time, though this is not an essential requirement.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary ranging from £60,000 to £140,000, dependent on experience and client base.
