Your new company is a successful manufacturing company in the Lurgan area, well respected in the local community. Due to a successful new contract, they have a requirement to add to the team.

Your new role involves being directly involved in the hands-on processes that contribute to the creation of industry-leading products and technology. You will operate cutting-edge machinery with precision and care, playing a pivotal role in the production process by efficiently carrying out day-to-day operational tasks as per standard operating procedures, ensuring seamless production flow.

You will adhere to all workplace safety guidelines and protocols, actively contributing to a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Consistently monitoring the quality of products during the manufacturing process is essential to ensure they meet the high standards expected by customers. Maintaining impeccable hygiene standards in all activities is critical for sustainable production.

Collaboration with other team members and the Cell Coordinator is necessary to ensure a harmonious and productive work environment. You will utilize and maintain equipment and machinery responsibly, reporting any malfunctions or concerns to the Cell Coordinator promptly. Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery will be part of your responsibilities to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance. Regular maintenance and proactive upgrades of equipment contribute to the drive for efficiency and sustainability.

Active participation in team meetings and training sessions is expected, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for process improvements.

What you’ll need to succeed: Ideally, you will be IT literate, have the ability to pay close attention to detail, demonstrate a basic technical and mechanical aptitude, and possess a strong commitment to safety and quality standards. You should be mechanically minded and ideally have experience in manufacturing; candidates with experience in basic maintenance would be perfect. You must be able to work continental shifts when required.
