My client is a B Corp, award-winning PR & Content agency who is looking to appoint an ambitious and capable Account Manager or Senior Account Manager. They are serious about their social and environmental impact, and they demonstrate this by measuring and publishing their performance across waste and energy usage, EDI, training, charity and fundraising, and mental health and wellbeing. Each member of the team plays a fundamental part in delivering these targets.
Key traits and skills they are looking for include someone who is driven and hungry for success, hitting client targets and career development. You will be brilliant at media relations as well as a strong writer. Client sectors are mainly B2B focused and cover property, energy/sustainability, built environment, professional services, utilities, hygiene & FM, tech, life science, manufacturing, and retail.

Key Responsibilities- Forming strategic PR plans in conjunction with the account director
- Managing client relationships, including overseeing the full client account, acting as the main point of contact, management of client expectations and relationship, delivering and attending client meetings, measuring, delivering to and reporting on KPIs, monitoring servicing levels and campaign budgets
- Lead and produce strategy for Tier 3 clients
- Delegating to, and briefing and managing account executives on client strategies and deliverables through regular team meetings, Trello, and email
- Providing briefs and structures for press releases, features, blogs and any other written communications for account executives, and leading on high-level content creation deliverables
- Leading on media relations and pitching strategies for accounts, assisting on high-level sell-ins
- Growing existing accounts, cross and upselling in additional agency services, and spotting growth areas
- Working alongside account directors to lead new business pitches
- Implementing and advising on best practice ways of working across areas of key expertise
- Adopting and reflecting our agency and B Corp values and daring to be different, bringing a charismatic energy to everything we do
- Working alongside the full team to ensure alignment in multi-channel strategies
- Completing 25 hours of volunteer work per annum as per our B Corp framework
- Leading on the delivery of at least one element of the agency’s ESG strategy, covering community, customers, environment, governance, and workers
- Strong copywriting skills
- Previous experience in B2B PR, with solid media relationships
- Experience in managing client budgets and timings
- Experience in maintaining positive client relations
- Project and team management skills, ensuring plans are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard
- Team leadership skills, able to motivate junior staff to deliver against company objectives and initiatives
- Creative thinking with confidence to lead brainstorms and actively contribute to company idea generation and client strategies
- Hybrid working (one day at home per week with a second signed-off for long form)
