Are you looking for an opportunity to work in various locations supporting children when they need it? Teaching Personnel are hiring for supply teachers to cover the Trafford area of Manchester. Our client schools cover areas such as Stretford, Wythenshawe, Sale and Altrincham. This opportunity can be flexible, giving you room to work to your availability, so ideal for people who can’t commit to a full-time schedule or want more choice over their schedule.
This role will provide a challenge, as no day will be the same and will require you to be adaptable to meet the needs of the children. For this role you will also need to be a fully qualified teacher, up to date with the current national curriculum.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Adaptable to the needs of the school, able to quickly change approach based on the classes you are covering
- Effective classroom management skills
- Previous experience teaching in a classroom setting
The key responsibilities of this position are to support the school in covering lessons where a teacher may be absent for multiple reasons including sickness and appointments. You will use a brief and a planned lesson to engage the children in their learning. You must be able to manage the behaviour of the classroom and ensure that the classroom is always a safe environment for the students.
This work can work around you and is available on a full-time or part-time basis, we will work around you and any prior commitments. You can update your availability week on week therefore we can prioritise you based on your availability as well as preference with year groups.
