Salary/Benefits: £30k - £50k + Training & Benefits

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable Asbestos Trainer to deliver a range of training courses to both external clients and internal members of staff. You will be joining a professional and UKAS accredited Asbestos firm, with an excellent reputation and a strong presence in the Midlands. Our client is able to consider candidates of varying experience and is able to provide fantastic training so candidates with strong industry experience can learn to deliver training courses. They are offering attractive salaries and packages, including a company vehicle and overtime opportunities.

Applicants will need to be based close to the office, so ideally you will be based around: Solihull, Nuneaton, Rugby, Royal Leamington Spa, Redditch, Droitwich Spa, Worcester, Kidderminster, Stourbridge, West Bromwich, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Telford, Cannock, Rugeley, Stafford, Lichfield, Tamworth, Walsall, Dudley, Halesowen, Burton upon Trent, Derby, Coalville, Loughborough, Beeston, Nottingham.

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Will ideally have a track record of successfully delivering Asbestos training courses
  • Qualified with industry-relevant qualifications, including: BOHS P402, P403, P404 and / or P405 or CCP
  • Will hold or be working towards gaining Education and Training modules
  • Excellent and well-rounded knowledge of the Asbestos industry, including HSG and UKAS standards
  • Strong written ability
  • Comfortable using IT software, including the Microsoft suite
  • Fantastic interpersonal skills
  • Able to think on your feet and adapt to changes

The Role:

  • You will be leading training courses for licensed, non-licensed removals as well as asbestos awareness
  • Travelling to client sites as required, including commercial, local authority and manufacturing client premises and providing bespoke training courses
  • Supporting training schemes and development within the company, delivering courses and identifying areas for improvement
  • Developing and improving courses and implementing changes when required
  • Meeting with clients on site to establish requirements
  • Planning thorough course plans and updating with any industry changes that might occur
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients
