Wild Recruitment are looking to recruit HGV Class 2 Refuse drivers in the Hedge End area. This HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver role is temporary but ongoing. Shifts run Monday - Friday, 6am to 4pm.

What you will be doing as a HGV Class 2 Refuse driver:

  • Driving a mixture of 7.5t and Class 2 Refuse trucks to collect waste from residential and commercial properties.
  • Working as part of a 3 man crew.
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly.
  • Complying with health and safety procedures and policies at all times.

What we need from you for this HGV Class 2 Refuse driver role:

  • Current C LGV Licence and valid Drivers CPC and DQC.
  • The ability to undertake heavy lifting as you may need to assist with loading of the vehicle.
  • Ready to take the initiative and work as part of a team.
  • You will need to attend and pass a driving assessment before you can start this role.
