We are looking for a skilled Platform Engineer to join the team. You will be expected to participate in cross-functional engineering projects, allowing the development of services which are supportable, sustainable and most importantly reliable. This opportunity will allow you to work within strategies offering user centric design, modern open source tech, and modern software architectures including cloud technology. The opportunity for growth and development within this role is second to none, with opportunities to work on challenging large scale projects.
Essential Skills as a Platform Engineer Include:
- Successful history with debugging complex, multi-server services in a HA production environment.
- A confident individual who can communicate effectively both internally and externally discussing technical concepts in a clear manner.
- Competency with Linux, Docker and Kubernetes.
- Working with Terraform to build infrastructure in AWS.
- Previous experience using Ansible to provide automation to the CI/CD pipelines.
- The ability to help mentor and train junior members of the technical team.
- Strong knowledge of CI structures, and how they are key in the automation process alongside other orchestration tools.
