My client is seeking a dynamic Sales Order Processor to join their team as the primary commercial interface for repeat quotations and re-costing activities. This position is essential in ensuring that all proposals align with the company’s commercial objectives and that quoted lead times are accurately matched with raw material availability and capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary commercial contact for repeat business, ensuring that all proposals are compliant with company goals and customer service objectives.
- Oversee the creation and submission of commercial proposals (quotations) for repeat business, ensuring they meet profitability targets.
- Collaborate with sales and management teams to ensure all quotations align with financial goals.
- Track, manage, and resolve commercial discrepancies related to repeat orders.
- Work closely with the planning team to ensure that quoted lead times are both realistic and achievable.
- Maintain and manage sales order tracking systems in accordance with company processes.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations and licensing requirements, including supporting training as needed.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the commercial process.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3 years plus experience in Sales Order Processing.
- Proficient in MS Office and other IT tools.
- Ability to manage customer relationships and collaborate across teams.
