At British Gypsum we have an exciting opportunity for a Stock Controller to manage the stock levels of raw materials, conducting stock counts and ensuring the accuracy of inventory records. This role is crucial for maintaining an efficient and organised inventory management system, ensuring that the right products are available in the right quantities at the right time to meet customer demand.
About the Role:
- A proactive attitude and the ability to manage and organise multiple tasks efficiently.

What you will be doing:
- Managing raw materials supply to support and maintain the levels required of production on-site.
- Ordering goods to meet customer requirements, ensuring ownership and accountability for inventory accuracy.
- Assisting with stock checks, overseeing order amendments, ordering and booking in goods and materials.
- Maintaining close relationships with our transport providers, central planning, and customer services teams.
- Handling any discrepancies and resolving any issues related to stock levels.

Our standard working pattern is 8am-4pm Monday to Friday with the opportunity of working from home if required. You would also work a day on the weekend once a month for stock checking which would be paid in overtime.
