As a Cyber Resilience Architect, the successful candidate will be at the forefront of safeguarding critical data and ensuring seamless recovery in the event of a cyber incident. This role involves implementing innovative resilience strategies to identify potential risks, protect vital information, and facilitate swift recovery processes. The Cyber Resilience Architect will manage and enhance data backup services, providing clients with a crucial safeguard for their most important data during times of crisis. This position offers the chance to engage with diverse challenges that ensure our customers' digital environments remain secure, resilient, and protected.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating existing backup systems to identify vulnerabilities.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Extensive experience in designing solutions that adhere to the latest UK and Ireland regulatory standards, such as PRA SS1/21 "Operational Resilience: Impact Tolerances of Important Business Services."
- Proven expertise in creating solutions that comply with current EU regulatory frameworks, including the Digital Operations Resilience Act (DORA).
- In-depth knowledge and experience in designing solutions aligned with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), specifically the Respond and Recover domains.
- Expertise in designing comprehensive recovery solutions for full application stacks, ensuring alignment with defined Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and Recovery Time Objectives (RTO).
- Significant experience providing resilience architecture support within business transformation and modernization initiatives.
- Ability to advise clients on disaster recovery best practices, assist in identifying Minimal Viable Company (MVC) application platforms, and determine related business impact tolerances, translating these to supporting infrastructure and foundational services.
- Proficient in designing backup and resilience solutions tailored to customer business impact tolerances, minimizing data loss and meeting RPO and RTO requirements.
- Strong experience in developing technical recovery procedures for system failovers and data recovery, as well as planning and supporting enterprise-level recovery tests for both system failovers and data restoration.
- Hold one or more professional certifications from leading cloud service providers, including Microsoft Azure Security Technologies, Microsoft Certified Cybersecurity Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, AWS Security Specialty, Google Cloud Security Engineer, or Google Cloud Architect.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Proven ability to lead and independently manage projects from inception to completion.
- Open Group certification.
- Experience in developing long-term architectural strategies.
- One or more security certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or CCSK.
