We are passionate about providing parents with high-quality, effective solutions that make mealtime enjoyable and stress-free. With a strong and growing B2B / wholesale business, we are seeking a driven and experienced Head of eCommerce and Performance to drive and grow awareness (and ultimately significant revenue) of Doddl to our target audience, and lead our ecommerce (1st party and 3rd party marketplace) growth.
About the role
The Head of eCommerce and Performance will be responsible for driving the rapid growth and profitability of Doddl's online channels, including the Doddl eCommerce site, Amazon, and future marketplaces. This role requires a strategic, but hands-on executional individual, with a proven track record in eCommerce management, conversion rate optimisation (CRO), and performance marketing. The ideal candidate will possess 5-7 years of experience in managing and optimising eCommerce platforms (Shopify), marketplaces (Amazon), and digital marketing (paid digital and CRM). You will be responsible for day-to-day trading, and the oversight of external agencies/contractors for paid media and CRM. You will also collaborate closely with the wider business, including brand, content, social teams, and Doddl’s founders, who lead the wholesale business.
Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee product visual merchandising, promotions, and site content. Monitor and analyse website performance and identify areas for improvement. Responsible for building eCommerce targets, managing budgets, and overseeing the eCommerce P&L.
- Marketplace Management: Manage and optimise Doddl's presence on Amazon and other marketplaces in the future (across UK/US/DE/FR) as part of the wider eCommerce and retail strategy. Monitor and analyse marketplace performance and implement necessary adjustments. Develop and execute strategies to maximise sales by working closely (and managing) our Amazon partners. Ensure we have the best talent (internally & externally) working on our account from Amazon Advertising to organically optimising the account whilst also dealing directly with Amazon on any challenges we may face.
- Performance Marketing: Oversee and manage external agencies for paid media (e.g., Google Ads, social media advertising & influencer marketing). Develop and implement performance marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition and retention. Monitor and analyse campaign performance and optimise for ROI.
- CRM and Customer Engagement: Oversee and manage external agencies for CRM initiatives. Develop and implement strategies to improve customer retention and loyalty. Utilise data and analytics to personalise customer communications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the brand, content, and social media heads to ensure consistent messaging and brand experience. Work closely with Doddl's founders to align eCommerce strategies with overall business objectives, including supporting wholesale/retail growth. Work with external partners to deliver the required content and site updates. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management.
