Assistant Group Financial Controller required in Solihull, Hybrid working options. Headquartered in the UK, this Group is a fast growing multinational product business focused on both professional and retail markets. There are over 650 employees spread across sites in the US, UK and Europe.

The Assistant Group Financial Controller will be part of the central finance team with other financial controllers and analysts. You will be in regular contact with local finance managers across the group.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Support the consolidation of monthly group accounts and intercompany reconciliations
  • Support the statutory consolidation process under IFRS
  • Support the annual (Group) audits
  • Involvement in the yearly budgeting process
  • Consolidation of 13-week rolling cash forecasts
  • Analyze monthly trends in local businesses to provide input for corporate reporting
  • Provide management information to stakeholders including banks and investors
  • Ad hoc analysis
Candidate Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Accounting/Finance
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in audit, accounting or controlling
  • Fluent in English
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • An interest in different ERP’s and consolidation software
  • An ambitious self-starter
