My client is a rapidly growing food production company, and due to the successful win, they are looking to add Sous chefs to their team. You will be responsible for producing premium prepackaged meals for a new client, consisting of high-quality meat and sauces from scratch. You will oversee junior members, ensuring the production line runs smoothly within a set timeline for delivery. Ensuring all HAACP, COSHH and other food hygiene and health and safety standards and procedures are followed, in line with industry and company policy.
The successful candidate will have:
- Chef experience at Sous chef level - Hotel, restaurant, airside catering and high-volume catering background considered.
- Experience overseeing junior members, ensuring the production line runs smoothly and in a timely manner.
- Good knowledge and understanding of HAACP, COSHH and RIDDOR both in theory and practically.
- Experience with SALSA or BRCE standards is desirable but not essential.
Working hours: 5:30pm till 1:30am - 5 days out of 7 (includes weekends).
