Design Engineer Location: Coventry – Possibility of hybrid Working available after probation Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week (8 AM – 5 PM) Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, pension contribution, career development opportunities, training & mentorship, company car/car allowance & fuel card About the Role: We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our in-house design team, working on temporary and permanent works design for tunnelling and underground structures. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a growing SME that works with Tier 1 contractors, water companies, and infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: * Assisting in conceptual and detailed designs for temporary and permanent works * Producing design calculations, reports, and drawings * Conducting design checks and approvals * Attending client meetings and site visits as required What We’re Looking For: * Higher National Diploma or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering * At least 2 years of design experience in civil engineering (preferably in tunnels, shafts, or underground structures) * Familiarity with Eurocodes, CDM Regulations, and design risk assessments * Experience using structural design software and AutoCAD * Full UK driving licence If this role looks of interest, please apply with an up-to-date CV and a member of our team will be in contact with more information about the position and its exciting benefits
