Job Description: Cyient is looking for a Tool Design Engineer for onsite deployment in the UK to work in a high-tech production facility delivering composite aircraft components. Required Skills: Minimum 5 years experience in Tool Design related to composite molds and assembly jigs, Design for Manufacture (DFM) Hands-on experience with Catia V5 Experience in development of tooling solutions (mould tools; 5-axis fixtures; assembly jigs; shop aids) from original concept through to production. Resolving issues in the internal and external supply chain Safety-first and Zero-Defect manufacturing mindset Create tool fabrication quotes, tooling input for new product quotes, tooling configuration changes involving cost estimation, schedule coordination & implementation Utilizing root cause analysis, preventative and corrective actions to reduce/eliminate non-conformances.
