Join the team, supporting the Ministry of Defence (MoD) with electrical maintenance in a secure, forces-based setting. As part of this vital work, you will help maintain electrical systems that ensure the safety and efficiency of all camp facilities. This is a mobile role so a driving licence is essential. Key Responsibilities Perform planned and preventative electrical maintenance to ensure systems are fully operational. Diagnose and replace failed electrical components. Respond to electrical breakdowns and complete repairs in compliance with safety regulations. Actively engage in fault-finding and problem-solving across electrical systems. Install electrical systems in accordance with the provided design and IET Wiring Regulations. Monitor and order critical spares to ensure system continuity. Support local and business zero carbon initiatives. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards across all work activities. This is a unique opportunity to work within a secure environment, helping maintain essential infrastructure for the Ministry of Defence. Security Clearance , including a Counter Terrorism Check, will be required (the company will assist you through this process). What You’ll Bring to the Role Technical qualification such as City & Guilds 2365 (Parts 1-3), NVQ Level 3, BTEC or equivalent in Electrical Installation. 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671) – If you hold the 17th Edition, we will sponsor your upgrade to the 18th Edition. Proven experience in electrical maintenance, including general distribution, installation, and testing. Knowledge of Electrical Systems and Electricity at Work Regulations. Ability to work independently, using initiative to resolve issues.
