As a result of growth in the firm, they are looking for an experienced Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team in the United Kingdom. As a Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in representing our client on MEP projects, delivering detailed designs, and overseeing the work of junior engineers. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of projects, while mentoring and guiding your team to achieve excellence. Responsibilities:- Represent our client on MEP projects, ensuring effective communication and coordination with stakeholders.
- Complete detailed electrical designs, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
- Coordinate tasks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.
- Qualified Electrical Engineer with a proven track record of success in MEP projects.
- Proven experience working for an Engineering Consultancy Firm on varied Building Services Projects.
- If you have experience in Mission Critical facilities, e.g. Data Centres, that would be great, but not essential.
- CIBSE, IET, or IMechE Engineering Council accredited honours degree or HNC.
- Working towards IEng or CEng status.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong interest in digital and parametric design tools.
