Head Of FM And Capital Projects

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Head of Facilities Management & Capital Projects on an initial 3-6 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee facilities management, capital projects, and statutory compliance across council and school sites.
2. Lead the corporate and school capital delivery programmes and drive asset management strategy.
3. Manage budgets, procurement frameworks, and performance monitoring.
4. Ensure health & safety, governance, and risk compliance across all facilities.
5. Work closely with senior leaders, external partners, and stakeholders.

About You:

1. Proven experience in facilities management, asset management, and capital projects.
2. Strong knowledge of health & safety compliance, property maintenance, and procurement.
3. Leadership experience in managing teams, budgets, and multi-site estates.
4. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
