Business Director – Multi Sector – Bid, Business Development & Marketing at Bidrecruitment
An exciting opportunity has come up to join a creative marketing agency in their well-established bids and marketing team. You will take responsibility for the end-to-end bid process, reporting into the Head of Bids and Marketing.
This is a full-time, permanent role which can be hybrid or they would consider someone further afield with travel once per week or once a fortnight. Their office is based just North of Nottingham. They are offering a salary of £50,000 – £60,000 depending on experience plus benefits.
This role would suit a bid professional who is confident managing the entire bid process, as well as creating new content. My client is open to candidates from any sector; however, you must have strong private sector bidding experience. Experience in the marketing or advertising sector would be a huge advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end bid process from qualification to submission and feedback.
- Develop and execute winning bid strategies that align with the company’s goals.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of a bid are addressed.
- Write, edit, and proof compelling responses for a wide-ranging business audience, tailoring content as needed to the client, sector, and service.
- Manage bidding resources and timelines to ensure on-time and high-quality proposal submissions.
- Stay informed about the company’s key propositions and new service launches, along with UK marketing services and competitor developments to inform bid strategies.
- Maintain and enhance our Bid & Marketing library and continuously refine bid processes.
- Provide MI reporting on bid activity levels, results, and resourcing.
- Support tenders across all services/business units/industry sectors – no two days will be the same!
- Build strong internal relationships with stakeholders.
