Role Purpose To lead and continually improve the Engineering service provision provided by the BHC technician team (PPM, corrective, fault finding, operational logistics and continuous improvement) ensuring that assets across the Port and Harbour Estate are maintained & enhanced in line with wider BHC asset management policies and that all internal and external customer service delivery KPI's are achieved. Criteria A recognised professional mechanical/ electrical / mechatronic qualification Team leadership experience in leading a team of technicians Demonstrated Safety leadership through training & experience e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH, CDM regs Ability to think strategically balance short and longer term needs as appropriate. Problem solver both reactively and in use of data to inform longer term decision making. Experience building, leading, training and developing high performance teams. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to develop collaborative relationships internally and externally.
