Are you looking for a van driving role that isnβt 100 drops a day? How does 10-12 deliveries sound? Donβt want to work weekends? We have Monday to Friday, part time, set days each week if that suits you better. PM shift 1pm start.
We are looking for Van Drivers to go out with Drivers mates doing 2 person home delivery. It will involve heavy lifting as it will be room of choice. This role is as much about customer service as it is driving as you will be the last point the customer sees.
Duties:- Safely operate a van to transport goods and deliver to customer homes
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Load and unload cargo, some assembly work may be involved but full training will be provided
- Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Previous experience as a van driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Ability to navigate using GPS or maps
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers or passengers
- Physical fitness for heavy lifting and loading/unloading cargo
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
