Rail Travel Consultant

We have an exciting opportunity to join a well-established tour operator (based in Central London) who specialise in rail holidays in Europe.

This company are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with a hands-on approach to join their friendly team. You will be responsible for handling incoming enquiries by phone and email and constructing bespoke rail itineraries.

Responsibilities:

Taking rail enquiries from direct customers and travel agents
Quoting and booking group and individual rail travel in Europe using various in-house systems
Managing new and existing accounts; series and adhoc groups, tailor-made or repeat tours
Operating and invoicing FIT and group travel, including dealing with pre and post departure queries
Liaising with key suppliers to ensure the accuracy of travel arrangements
Maintain excellent levels of after-sales service, including in-trip queries or issues

Skills Required:

Experience booking rail travel in Europe
Proven experience of preparing quotes and operating groups.
The ability to speak a second European language is highly desirable but not essential
Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent written and spoken English

Package

A competitive basic salary of £28,000 – £29,000 + bonus
Monday – Friday: 9am – 6pm
Hybrid working
