EniProgetti is wholly owned by Eni, the global energy company. EniProgetti performs a key role developing projects and providing expert engineering support to Eni businesses worldwide. The company has an integrated operation office in the UK in Basingstoke. EniProgetti is currently helping to lead Eni in the energy transition from traditional business areas with decarbonised solutions such as CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage) to innovative projects such as renewables, hydrogen, etc. The office is a landmark feature on Basing View in central Basingstoke, with ample free parking and only a five-minute walk from the mainline railway station.

EniProgetti UK operates a SmartWorking policy allowing personnel to work for up to 12 working days/month from home or a similar secure location and these 12 days can be available even where personnel are on leave for a portion of the month. As such, typically around 60% of time working remotely is available for individuals who wish to take advantage of this.
Role Overview
At Eni, we are looking for a Senior Engineer, Planning within the EniProgetti UK Branch in Basingstoke, UK. EniProgetti operate in all phases of the project lifecycle but are primarily involved in the Pre-FID phases of projects. The successful candidate will be involved in all stages of schedule development, from developing the baseline schedule and S-curve to monitoring and reporting progress.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Maintaining full familiarity with company policies, directives and procedures and suggesting improvements to project planning methods, procedures, and practices to the Department Chief.
- Developing the resource loaded project baseline schedule and S-curve to monitor and report project progress, also playing an active part in scope management.
- Creating project specific planning procedures where necessary.
- Monitoring the Planning manhour spend against the budget on assigned projects. Advising the Department Chief of future manpower requirements making every effort to stay within budget.
- Ensuring that the project planning network is set-up in such a way that it can exchange information with the Electronic Document Management System and SAP if required.
- Maintaining full familiarity with all relevant software applications associated with planning (including relevant parts of the EDMS if required).
- Assisting in preparation of proposals and making presentations to clients as directed by the Department Chief.
Knowledge and Experience
- Degree in a related subject.
- Experience of working as a Planning Engineer on projects in the energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of Primavera P6, MS project, MS office applications.
