About the role This is a unique opportunity to lead and expand YF’s Outsourced Supply Chain Services. As Head of Outsourced Supply Chain Services, you’ll combine business development, strategic leadership, and hands-on operational expertise to make a tangible impact on some of the UK’s most innovative FMCG brands. You’ll be at the forefront of driving growth for the Outsourced Supply Chain function, winning new clients, nurturing existing partnerships, and ensuring our high-performing team continues to excel. Acting as a Supply Chain Director or Head of Operations for many of our clients, you’ll provide them with the strategic and operational guidance needed to scale effectively. As a key member of the team, you’ll be responsible for: Developing and executing strategies to win new clients and retain existing ones, driving and owning revenue growth for your area of the business. Supporting, mentoring and growing our talented team to maintain high performance and exceptional service delivery. Acting as the Supply Chain Director or Head of Operations for clients, offering strategic oversight, operational problem-solving and expert guidance. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring their supply chains are efficient, effective and ready for growth. About you We’re looking for an experienced supply chain leader who is ready to take ownership of a growing function and make a meaningful impact. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and have a proven ability to deliver results. 7+ years of experience in a supply chain or operations role, ideally within an FMCG business. A track record of progression demonstrating your ability to take on increasing levels of responsibility and leadership. Previous consultancy experience is a bonus especially in client-facing roles where you’ve acted as a trusted advisor. Strong strategic and operational capabilities with a clear understanding of the challenges and opportunities in scaling supply chains. A natural leader who can support and inspire a team while building trusted relationships with clients. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
