Branch Assistant

Rexel UK, are looking for a Branch Assistant to join our long-standing Denmans Thetford Branch, Working Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:00.

As a Branch Assistant, you will be supporting across the team with carrying out Customer support, Warehouse & Driving duties, from serving customers on the Trade Counter, taking phone calls about stock availability, Quotes or Orders, to picking & packing customer orders ready for collection or delivery out.

As part of the role, you will be expected to cover deliveries out to our customers, where you will be un-loading them and ensuring all delivery paperwork is complete, this duty is shared across the team.

Ideally, you will come from a Retail or Customer Service background, with the ability to support in sales activities and ensure a great service is provided for every single customer.

What we are looking for you to have to be a Branch Assistant:

* Customer Service: Experience working in a customer facing role, and able to demonstrate great service provided for repeat business,

* Delivery Driving: Must be happy to support in delivery duties, Hold a UK Licence, with no more than 3 points and be over the age of 21 years old (Insurance purposes)

* Communication: The ability to ask questions and provide information effectively across different stakeholders e.g. Colleagues, customers & Suppliers.

* Stock Management: Experience from a Retail or wholesale stock environment, with proven ability to pick & Pack orders or to book in and organise goods in to store/branch
