Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a merchandise assortment plan for the Sports Department to meet or exceed financial targets.
- Engage in open-to-buy (OTB) meetings with the Planning team to meet sales, profitability, and inventory turnover goals.
- Continuously analyze market trends across social media platforms and competitor landscapes to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Craft assortment strategies that balance SKU range, depth versus breadth, product newness, and pricing/margin objectives.
- Assess in-season and post-season sales to determine product performance, informing adjustments in strategy and future assortments.
- Forge and nurture strong vendor relationships, seeking new partnerships that bolster SHEIN's product offerings.
- Monitor weekly sales to identify potential reorder opportunities and recommend markdown strategies for underperforming products.
Job Requirements:
- 5-8 years of experience within the Branded Sports sector.
- A track record of successful vendor negotiations, emphasizing product quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace for effective data analysis and presentation.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Fashion, Production, Design, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Strong prioritization, project management, organizational skills, and keen attention to detail.
