Residential Childcare Officer (Grade 5)

What the Job Involves As a Residential Childcare Officer, you will provide direct care and effective support to young people in a residential setting, enabling them to achieve positive outcomes in line with their childcare plans. Every day will bring new challenges, requiring a can-do attitude and a commitment to going above and beyond for those in your care. Responsibilities include daily care routines, educational support, promoting self-advocacy, and maintaining health and safety standards. Waking Night Officers will stay alert throughout the night to monitor and respond to young people\’s needs and perform tasks as required by on-call managers.
