Major Talent are looking for Learning & Development Managers to join a vibrant food company based in the Midlands Area. This role will be reporting into the Head of People & will cover multiple sites. As a Learning and Development Manager, you will: Design and deliver a training and development strategy that supports the business objectives, talent management process and internal development programmes Identifying organisational training needs, determining specific training requirements and developing a training plan that is appropriate and within budget Assist managers to identify the learning and development needs of themselves and their teams; this includes support in the design of succession plans, competency models, on-boarding, personal development plans and performance improvement plans. Deliver training initiatives (design, development, deliver & evaluate) Assess providers' quality of materials, delivery and cost effectiveness & measure training effectiveness. Working with Managers to develop assignments, rotations, mentoring and on-boarding programmes Will oversee adherence to the learning and development processes including administration and record keeping Will be responsible for adherence to the learning and development training procedures for each site, and ensure that all training delivery meets the needs of company accreditation and customer requirements Monitor and report on activities, costs, performance etc as requir…
