They are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Crane Engineer who is dedicated to safety and quality, capable of independently solving problems, yet equally effective within a team environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine service inspections on overhead cranes and hoists
  • Understand and ensure compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations
  • Consult with customers post-inspection, clearly communicating next steps with an emphasis on preventative maintenance
  • Perform frontline maintenance, attend breakdowns, carry out fault-finding, retrofits, modernisations, and upgrades to customers' cranes and hoists
  • Anticipate and prevent potential issues proactively

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3, HNC, HND or City & Guilds qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Relevant experience with cranes and hoists
  • Current UK driving licence
