Our client is a very successful specialist Civil Engineering contractor, who due to a very strong orderbook, inclusion on more UK wide utility frameworks and increased business are expanding. This is a brilliant environment to develop your long-term career in a technical challenging industry sector, where there is deep internal technical experience to support you.
The projects they successfully deliver utilise the most up to date technology and are some of the most challenging and complex, working within the Utilities sectors, in particular Water, Marine, Roads and Rail. This is a highly successful niche specialist, with a portfolio which includes smaller scale projects of 1-3 months, right through to multi-year complex programmes of work.
This is a flexible environment and very open to Hybrid working. Many of their larger clients are based in mainland UK, so please note there will be a high level of travel, but they will work with you to make it as easy as possible (with overnight stays, flexibility in terms of travel times).
As a Civil Engineer you will manage the projects you deliver from cradle to grave, with both autonomy and the full support of an experienced wider team. This is a well-established company, with an excellent reputation, which invests heavily in new technology. You will gain experience of the newest and best technology for the job in hand.
This is a busy, fast paced industry sector which is a high growth area, so it will be a busy environment. Internally there is a depth of sector knowledge, meaning you will have a strong internal support network.
