KAVX is a global business and a leading supplier of electronic components to a worldwide customer base. The IT team, based in Coleraine, runs the largest IBM I-Series (AS/400) installation in Northern Ireland and is responsible for IT development and support for the AVX global business in Europe and Asia. Due to internal development, we have an opportunity to join our IT operations support team.

The Job: You will be part of a small team responsible for the running of system servers accessed by users throughout Europe, Asia, and the USA via wide area network communications links. This includes both standard data centre operations and support of the European user base.
What you need: Educated to A Level standard or equivalent and have a working knowledge of personal computers and PC operating systems. It's not essential, but we would like you to have previous computer operations experience on IBM AS400/i-series/System-i hardware. Full training will be given.
