Maintenance Engineer

Since our early days, the development of piston systems and cylinder components has been a core competence at MAHLE. Because we understand the interaction of engine components, we can deliver optimal solutions to our customers. Our products are used around the globe in two-wheeled vehicles, passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and large engines.

As a Maintenance Engineer we would like you to conduct maintenance, fault finding, repairs and calibration on mechanical, electrical & hydraulic systems of dedicated test rigs.

Your Contribution:

• Conduct maintenance, fault finding, repairs and calibration on mechanical, electrical & hydraulic systems of dedicated test rigs.
• Ensure robustness of test data on dedicated test rigs and metrology systems.
• Implement improvements to working practises, document changes and write work instructions.
• Support and advise Technicians and Operators as appropriate.
• Any other duties defined by the Head of Projects, Development & Testing.

Your Skills and Experience:

• A strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical & hydraulic systems (essential)
• Experience of using metrology equipment (desirable)
• Experience with Excel
• Degree in a mechanical engineering or equivalent (essential)
