The predicted salary is between 24000 - 42000 £ per year.
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Drainage Technician(s) to join our team and help develop the business. The ideal candidate(s) will possess a strong understanding of drainage systems and be adept at using various tools and equipment to ensure efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of drainage solutions. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This is an exciting opportunity to help form a dynamic team. As well as a basic salary there are extensive opportunities for a bonus scheme. The ideal candidate will be located in South Glasgow or Ayrshire.
Duties
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate drainage needs and challenges.
- Install, maintain, and repair drainage systems using appropriate techniques.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy machinery safely and effectively.
- Work with other engineers and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including any modifications made to existing systems via a bespoke work management system.
Experience
- Proven experience in drainage engineering or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools.
- A valid driving licence with the appropriate category for van driving.
- Ability to adhere to safety standards.
- Experience of civil works is an advantage.
- WJA registration (desirable).
- CSCS card (desirable).
- A Disclosure Scotland check will be carried out.
