HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) NG5 Immediate Start

Contract Type: Full-time
Pay: £100 – £120 per day (dependent on experience)

Class Mate is working with a vibrant primary school in NG5 seeking a confident and experienced HLTA to join their team immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to support teaching and learning across the school, making a real difference to pupils\’ progress.

The Role:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across different year groups, covering teacher absence where required.
• Provide targeted support for individuals and small groups to boost attainment.
• Assist in planning and preparing learning activities.
• Support children with SEND and additional needs where necessary.
• Work collaboratively with teachers to enhance pupil learning and engagement.
• Help assess pupil progress and provide feedback in line with school policies.

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or extensive experience as a Teaching Assistant with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience working across different year groups in a primary school setting.
• Confidence in delivering lessons and supporting whole-class teaching.
• A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
