Borestone Primary School are recruiting for a full time, permanent class teacher, 1.0 FTE. We are looking for a committed, compassionate and inspiring teacher to join our dynamic and nurturing team. If successful, you will be supporting the delivery of Curriculum for Excellence within a city school in the heart of Stirling.

In addition to the range of teaching and other duties outlined in the job specification, we are looking for individuals who enjoy working collegiately with colleagues, and who have a firm commitment to improving the outcomes for all our children at Borestone Primary School, supporting us to achieve equity for all.

You will have a relevant teaching qualification together with GTCS registration and have excellent, demonstrable classroom practice with sound knowledge of curriculum, learning, teaching and assessment. The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified. It is Stirling Council’s policy to ask that you pay for this if you are on point 4 or above of the main-grade teachers scale.
