Our client in Aberdeen has a fantastic new opportunity for a Business Development Manager to work closely with the Chartering team to provide complimentary “front end” sales and marketing leadership to enhance the ability to win work. This is a full-time permanent position.
General responsibilities:
- Identify market and charter opportunities for vessels operating in the Oil and Gas sector of the North Sea comprising of:
- A fleet of 33 Emergency Response & Recovery Vessels (ERRV)
- 1 vessel in Seismic Survey Operations for Offshore Energy & Oil & Gas Markets
Essential skills & experience:
- Educated to Degree level.
- Proven and relevant track record in the offshore, offshore energy markets and/or shipping industry.
- Charter party knowledge, experience and overview of offshore and/or shipping markets.
- Technical/Engineering Background to manage Projects and implementation.
- Competency in developing and implementing customer plans and building long-term relationships.
- Good negotiating and problem-solving skills.
- Good commercial and analytical skills.
- Budget Management Skills.
- Competency in excel spreadsheets and general computer literacy.
- Must be a team player and able to work closely with Chartering & Ship Management teams.
