Who We Are - School Partnership Team: Sitting within the wider Protocol Education team, the Partnerships Team drive the business growth of their dedicated regions through the provision of strategic and tactical business development via growth of the client portfolio, client retention and client acquisition. They are a tight knit team who collaborate regularly and who recognise and enjoy each other's successes. The Role: As School Partnerships Manager, you would lead and manage the existing client portfolio and the activity around this, in addition to leading on client acquisition and retention for London. You will be required to business develop and manage clients across Greater London but you must also be prepared to travel to meet other clients, your team, and branches across London and Kingston. You will support the business growth of your business unit and regional branches through the provision of strategic and tactical business development via Multi Academy Trust and Multi School Group partnerships, Preferred Supplier Agreements and the development and management of London's client portfolio. The role will be highly influential in expanding the overall school base and improving returns from existing schools.
It is essential, the ideal candidate have experience in:
- The education market (ideally in education recruitment, or within business development for other educational services)
- A commercial setting
- People management
Responsibilities:
- Produce, implement, and execute regional strategic client/business development quarterly plans in line with the business strategy, objectives, expectations, and aims.
- Collaborate with Operations Directors and Director of Partnerships on client development and client acquisition strategies.
- Support the London ops teams in achieving budget days, growth on prior year and GPPD targets.
- Research and ascertain new business/market opportunities through growth areas, trends, client networks, partnerships, products, and services.
- Build compelling business cases for new client initiatives and services.
- Use sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking to attract new business.
- Develop detailed proposals, tenders, and presentations to secure business with new and existing large clients or contracts.
- To personally win, oversee and retain high value, key client accounts at MAT / MSG level across London.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective and existing clients.
- Identify, organise, and lead at client events such as exhibitions and conferences to generate new business.
- Play a key role in the internal and external promotion and development of selected products and business lines.
- Maintain a clear and accurate understanding of the educational market and government educational policy enabling the business to maximise business and growth opportunities.
- Effectively conduct market analysis, client mapping and client development planning.
- Identify opportunities for new and enhanced product offerings, services, and client tactics on an ongoing basis.
- Work with key internal stakeholders to ensure a solid educator base to service key clients and target MATs.
- Effective talent management to optimize performance, engage and motivate staff, and develop the skillset of Operations teams.
