We are currently looking for a motivated and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their warehouse career, with the potential for future growth into an Assistant Manager role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervision & Training: Lead and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. Provide training and guidance to new and existing staff, ensuring high performance and safety standards.
  • FLT Operation: Use both Counterbalance and Reach FLTs to load and unload vehicles, process goods out, pick orders, and relocate stock within the warehouse.
  • Warehouse Operations: Oversee and manage stock movement, including pallet stacking, shrink-wrapping, and ensuring proper stock rotation. Conduct stock relocation, processing of goods, and resolving issues with damaged cases.
  • Admin Duties: Liaise with the admin office and gatehouse to ensure smooth coordination. Assist with basic administrative duties such as keeping records for staff, and processing paperwork.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure safe operation of warehouse activities and compliance with safety standards. Responsible for opening and locking the warehouse at the start and end of each day.
  • Leadership: Provide direction and support to the warehouse team, maintaining productivity and ensuring targets are met. Implement and monitor training initiatives to improve team performance.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory role is preferred but not essential.
  • FLT Licence: Must hold a valid RITTB Counterbalance and Reach FLT licence.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members, admin office, and gatehouse.
  • Hands-on Approach: Be proactive and involved in all aspects of warehouse operations, including loading, picking, and organising stock.
  • Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate paperwork.
  • Team Player: A supportive and motivating leader who can manage and develop a team.
