As a General Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day on-site operations on this infrastructure project ensuring that work is executed safely and in line with project specifications. This role involves close collaboration with geologists, environmental experts, and infrastructure professionals to ensure the project’s high standards in safety, quality, and environmental protection., * Lead and manage on-site teams, including subcontractors, equipment operators, and laborers.

  • Enforce strict adherence to health and safety standards.

  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and surveyors to align construction schedules with project milestones, such as traffic surveys and archaeological assessments.

  • Monitor and maintain the quality of construction work, including embankment testing and ground assessments, ensuring adherence to design specifications.

  • CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS, First Aid certificates are advantageous.

  • Proven experience in groundworks, earthworks, or geotechnical projects, ideally within large-scale infrastructure projects.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
