As the Senior Transformation Lead, the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team to deliver new intelligent hospitals as part of the New Hospital Programme. The post holder will have two primary areas of responsibility:

  • Lead and develop national standards and guidance for digital, data and technology for the New Hospital Programme.

  • Lead and develop optimal approaches to digital transformation in the context of new hospital design and delivery.

The role supports the NHP in driving transformation and innovation as well as value for money in new hospital development across planning, commissioning and service delivery. The role is designed to build a combination of subject matter expertise and technical skills to develop a strong service delivery., The Senior Digital Transformation Lead will:

  • Lead and oversee digital transformation initiatives across the New Hospital Programme, ensuring alignment with programme strategic objectives and goals.

  • Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions during periods of transformation and foster a culture of innovation.

  • Conduct thorough horizon scanning to identify emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in digitally enabled healthcare, and provide insights and recommendations to the NHP working in conjunction with Innovation colleagues.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement standards and policies that promote efficiency, patient safety, and quality of care delivery.

  • Drive and manage transformation projects, including planning, budgeting, resourcing, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion and achievement of desired outcomes.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, empowering them to effectively execute change initiatives and drive sustainable results.

  • Foster collaboration and engagement with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including healthcare professionals, clinical teams, and senior leaders.

  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes and requirements within the healthcare sector and ensure compliance and adherence to relevant guidelines and standards., NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route you’ll usually need to be paid the ‘standard’ salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the ‘going rate’ for your job, whichever is higher.
