Take on a new challenge and apply your Mechanical Systems Engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Andrew Black (Mechanical Systems Manager), and work alongside dedicated and passionate teammates. You’ll support the Services Engineering business responsible for vehicles already in passenger service. The Mechanical Systems Engineer shall specify one or several train functions and associated sub-system(s) at train level and lead technically the engineering studies to reach the required performances at train level. This role is on a permanent contract offering significant potential for career growth.
We’ll look to you for:

To take ownership of work packages to deliver a technical solution with all supporting documentation. Work will range from small technical queries relating to parts overhaul up to full ownership of a work package on a major fleet modernisation.
