All of our service provision will be delivered in a person-centred manner, with absolute engagement of the people we support.

In this role you are a key part of the Management team, providing leadership to frontline teams. The role of Clinical Deputy is to work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure high quality care, safety and compliance are at the forefront of service delivery and operation. Pirton Grange provides Specialist Nursing Care for people with neurological conditions including dementia, Korsakoff syndrome, Huntington’s Disease and Acquired Brain Injury., The role includes but is not limited to:

Work closely with the Registered Manager to formulate effective strategies for the safe delivery and development of the service including supporting implementation and oversight. This includes ownership of Service Improvement plans alongside the Registered Manager.

To ensure completion of designated quality assurance audits, presenting findings and mitigating action taken to Monthly Pirton Governance Committee.

Assist the Registered Manager to meet all relevant regulatory, contract and good practice standards.

Provide effective leadership and support for the nursing and care team within the home alongside the Registered Manager. To include conducting regular supervisions and appraisals (in line with KPI frequency) where performance is assessed, managed and developed.

Conduct regular team meetings alongside the manager where service progress and person centeredness is assessed, managed and developed.

Provide support to Clinical teams in relation to medicines management and be able to assess colleagues competency to manage medication.
