We're seeking an experienced Group Insurance Manager who will be responsible for managing and coordinating the businesses annual insurance renewals as we approach April. The successful candidate will ensure the optimal coverage and risk management for the Birmingham based organisation.
Our client is a large organisation that operates across the west midlands in the Commercial Property space. They are looking to appoint an Insurance Manager from an Insurer or Broker background to support the business through a 12-month FTC maternity cover.
Description
- Manage and coordinate the insurance programme within the company.
- Optimise coverage and risk management strategies.
- Work closely with various internal departments to identify potential risks.
- Assess insurance proposals and negotiate with brokers and insurers.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage insurance audits.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Prepare regular reports on the insurance programme's performance.
Profile
- A background working for an Insurer or Broker, including those from claims or commercial insurance.
- Prior experience in an insurance management role or account management role within a broker.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work with brokers and insurers.
- Good understanding and experience working with injury claims.
- Excellent knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance.
- Desirable - Qualified to CII standards.
