Site Manager

Your Company:A construction business is seeking a Site Project Manager to spearhead the management of several renovation type projects within the Portsmouth area. This is a business with years of experience within the industry and a range of bespoke services offered to their clients, making them a successful entity within the market. This role will be crucial in the delivery of their projects and services, ensuring that quality and efficiency are at the heart of what the team is doing.Please Note: The company is only wishing to see applicants from within a 20 Mile radius of Portsmouth, due to the job requiring an early start time.Your Roles and Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and planning a range of renovation-based projects, seeing each project through from inception to delivery
• Taking accountability for ensuring projects are completed within budget and on time
• Managing contractors to ensure all regulations are met and that any relevant permits are attained
• Managing the work of subcontractors such as tilers, floor fitters, plumbers and electricians to ensure quality, time management and work is done to specification
• Handling any administrative tasks needed, possibly including placing orders, arranging deliveries to site and the management of materials

What you will need to Apply:The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent previous experience within a project or site management role, whereupon they have been responsible for numerous projects, managing budgets and timescales. Stakeholder and contractor management experience is crucial to success. Good knowledge of the construction management processes is vital.
