Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for Permanent LGV Driving Instructors/Trainers to join their expanding team based in Lympstone. Our client is delivering training for both the MOD and the HGV Skills Bootcamp and so are looking for experienced HGV Drivers/Instructors who will train the next generation of truck drivers.
A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Have held a Full C+E (Class 1) LGV Licence for over 2 years with no points or endorsements
- Have a passion for teaching and the ability to successfully instruct drivers through both Categories C (Class 2) and C + E (Class 1)
- Previous instructing experience is desired, but this is not compulsory
- Have a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- A high level of customer service
The role entails:
- This position will largely involve training for the MOD but may involve training for the HGV Skills Bootcamp
- Delivering all aspects of Driver Training to the armed forces
- Successfully instructing drivers through both Categories C (Class 2) and C+E (Class 1)
- Delivering all aspects of LGV training to new drivers, returning drivers and upskilling drivers, including but not limited to:
- Driver Training
- Tachograph Training
- Manual Handling Training
- Drivers' Hours Training
The salary for this position is up to £28,250 + bonus. The hours for this position is between 40 - 45 hours per week.
