Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety First: Ensure adherence to safety standards and company safety rules; promote a culture of accident prevention.
  • Process Adherence: Ensure teams follow all established processes, instructions, and SOPs; resolve minor issues on the spot and escalate when necessary.
  • Team Support: Mentor and advise colleagues on process improvements and operational best practices; provide feedback to the supervisor regarding team performance.
  • Production Support: Help ensure that manufacturing orders are completed on time and to the required quality standards; report any issues that could affect on-time delivery.
  • Machine & Site Management: Identify and report machine issues, ensure maintenance is conducted promptly, and lock out defective machines to prevent accidents.
  • Team Coordination: Manage team timekeeping and breaks to ensure productivity and efficiency.
Essential Requirements/Experience:
  • Experience: Strong people management skills and experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities; proficient with PC skills including Excel.
  • People Skills: Assertive, firm when needed, but also respectful and motivated to build a strong, cohesive team.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
