A specialist case management and rehabilitation company are looking for a Care Team Leader to join its team in Stockton on Tees. The company is committed to the continuous learning and development of all its staff to enable them to realise their potential. This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week.

As Care Team Leader you will be working with one of the clients with Cerebral Palsy. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Co-ordinating the rota to ensure cover is in place at all times.
  • Ensuring the smooth running of things and that everybody knows what they are doing.
  • Working on shift for the majority of your hours supporting with personal care, social and leisure activities, and rehabilitation activities.

You should have a great sense of humour, be kind, honest and happy to support the client in getting out and about and completing therapies. The client needs support with personal care and all aspects of daily living, uses a wheelchair to get around, although can walk small distances with support and has their own wheelchair accessible van. They are very active and like all things sensory, so you must be creative and be prepared to keep up with changes in activities.

We are keen to speak to people about this Care Team Leader opportunity who have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience of working in the Health Sector.
  • Trained to NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or have equivalent experience e.g. completed year 1/level 4 of a recognised health profession degree course).
  • Driving licence and car owner is essential.

This is a full-time position with afternoons, evenings, weekend shifts, annual leave/sickness cover available. You will receive a salary of £33,150 per annum, additional holidays accruing with service, company pension, health cover and employee rewards, full supervision including regular formal meeting opportunities, training & development in areas such as Acquired Brain Injury, Medication, Mental Capacity & Safeguarding, Moving and Handling, and First Aid.
