Our client is currently seeking a talented Structural Engineer who is fluent in Mandarin to join their team and support them with a new Offshore Wind project. This is a Senior / Lead / Principal role for Offshore Wind Foundation design.
Essential Requirements:
- Structural engineering experience for the Offshore Wind sector.
- Fluent in Mandarin.
- Degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience in Design Engineering of Monopiles or Jackets.
- Experience working with developer / EPCI contractor on Offshore structures.
- Design of Primary or Secondary Steel for Offshore Wind.
- Transportation & Installation for OWF & Fabrication & Construction.
- Loads Analysis, specifically offshore loading and dynamics of offshore wind turbine foundations.
- Experience in Owner’s Engineering, Package Management, Engineering Management or Contract Management.
- Certifications from agencies like DNV-GL, Lloyds Register, Bureau Veritas, etc.
- Offshore Wind Foundation design practices and developments.
- Offshore wind regulations, codes of practice, and design standards.
- Ideally Chartered Engineer / progressing towards chartered status.
